Licence & Updates Policy

Last updated: [07 September, 2026]

This policy explains what your VelocityEngine purchase includes: how many websites you can use it on, how updates work, and how long support lasts. It applies to purchases made from deenpixel.com.

1. What you’re buying

Every plan includes the same VelocityEngine theme and the bundled VelocityEngine Core plugin. Plans differ only by:

  • how many websites you may use your licence key to receive updates and support on, and
  • how long your support period lasts.
PlanWebsitesSupport period
Personal1 website6 months
BusinessUp to 3 websites12 months
AgencyUnlimited websites12 months

Your licence key activates automatic updates and entitles you to support on the number of sites shown for your plan.

2. Updates

  • Updates are lifetime. Your access to theme and VelocityEngine Core updates does not expire, so the theme keeps working and can be updated for as long as you use it.
  • Updates are delivered inside WordPress. Enter your key once at Appearance → VE License, then update from Dashboard → Updates like any other theme or plugin.
  • Updates flow only to an activated website (one that is using a valid licence key within your plan’s site allowance).
  • We may add, change, or retire features over time as the product develops. We aim to keep updates backward‑compatible but cannot guarantee that every third‑party plugin or customisation will be unaffected.

3. Support

  • Support is included for your plan’s support period (see the table above) and can be renewed for continued help.
  • After your support period ends, the theme and updates continue to work; only access to new support requests pauses until you renew.
  • What support covers — and does not cover — is described in the product listing’s Support section (installation and activation help, configuration questions, confirmed VelocityEngine bugs, starter‑site import problems, and compatibility with plugins we officially test). It does not include building or managing your website, custom development, or fixing unrelated third‑party plugins.

4. Using the licence on your sites

  • Activate your key on each site at Appearance → VE License.
  • To move VelocityEngine to a different website, open Appearance → VE License on the old site and click Deactivate this website, then activate on the new one. This frees a slot within your plan’s allowance.

5. Software licence (GPL)

VelocityEngine’s code is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL v2 or later). Your purchase provides the download, updates, and support described above. Bundled images, demo content, fonts, and third‑party assets may be covered by their own licences.

6. What’s not included

This is a digital product. It does not include web hosting, domain registration, email services, or third‑party paid plugins or services. Actual website performance, SEO results, and feature behaviour depend on your hosting, content, configuration, and any other plugins you install.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our separate refund policy. Please read it before purchasing: Read our refund policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and plans evolve. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. Your existing entitlements are not reduced by changes made after your purchase.
